You won the lottery! What’s your first purchase?

A little paradise. I would take my entire family on the trip of their dreams. We would have to have our own personal lottery to determine the destination.

Share one thing you love to do that you always strive to include in your daily routine.

Make myself do something I don’t feel like doing, for one. Another is listen to the music that fits the mood I’m in. Anything from Sam Cooke, Elvis, The Clash or Black Sabbath.

What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities?

I’ve been playing hockey for some time. Everyone’s seen me limp around the office at different times, but I keep up with the younger players. Other than that I like to play golf, love sports in general. I like to travel, find new restaurants, cook, and spend time with my family (including Ragnar).

The aforementioned Ragnar, Mark’s pet hedgehog, chillin’ in his own personal chair!

Tell us about one of your most memorable experiences.

Aside from my kids, I’d say I’ve seen some of the best concerts; Motorhead comes to mind. I’ve been to places in Europe and explored them on foot. Winning some tenacious hockey games and quality time with my family.

What is your favorite Biggs story?

I have many to choose from over almost 23 years. The Christmas parties are great, and I’ve worked with some great people over the years. My initial interview was quite memorable with the entire management team – yet here I am.

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?

A boat so I could leave.

Is your favorite season spring, summer, winter, or fall – and why?

I love summer for the outdoors and water; I like winter for storms, the holidays, and hockey.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

What does success look like to you?

Building long-term relationships – friends, family, and business partners – and money is cool too.

What was your first job?

Cleaning kennels and feeding dogs at Waldorf Kennels. I also had to mow the lawn and take care of customers. What a job.
