Staff Spotlight: Victoria Russell-Schlienz

Every month we like to introduce one of our staff members so you can get to know them better. This month we spoke to Victoria, a Senior Account Manager in the Commercial Dept. – she told us about her new favorite hobby (making pottery!), her first job (remarkably – insurance!), and her appreciation for Dave Anzellotti’s mad karaoke skillz.

You won the lottery! What’s your first purchase?

A private jet!  So we can go wherever/whenever we want! 😊

Share one thing you love to do that you always strive to include in your daily routine.

Reading… I’ve been a avid reader since I was very young and it’s still my go-to every chance I get.  I’ve read Pride and Prejudice so many times I feel like I should have been a bridesmaid at their wedding!!

What are some of your favorite hobbies or activities?

I finally bought a pottery wheel a couple months ago and I LOVE IT!  I’m still just making bowls, but they are starting to look like something you can actually use ❤

What is your favorite Biggs story?

Can I just say the hi-jinx that happen at the Christmas party?  The event is totally family friendly, but it always cracks me up to see people relax and have fun!  At my previous job the upper management stood in a corner and had little to do with most people… at Biggs, Dave Anzellotti belts out a mean karaoke!!

If you were stranded on a deserted island, what is the one thing you couldn’t live without?

My Kindle. And please make sure it has a good signal to Amazon so I can order new books 😉

Is your favorite season spring, summer, winter, or fall – and why?

Summer!  The warm weather, the long days filled with family fun, the s’mores!!

What was your first job?

Believe it or not… insurance!  Yup… in high school I worked for a Farmers agent for a couple hours a day doing filing and such.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Oooooh, that’s a toughy… I think I’d have to choose time travel.  How cool would it be to go back in time and hang out with your parents/grandparents when they were young?!  Or to visit Egypt when it was still the land of the Pharaohs… crazy to even think about.
